Tesco Everyday Value Soft Cheese, 200g - £0.49 (£0.08 per serving)

Tesco Everyday Value Soft Cheese, 200g - £0.49 (£0.08 per serving)

Seeing as Philadelphia is often close to 4 times the price, this Tesco Everyday Value soft cheese is pretty good value I'd say. As you'd probably expect, it's not as creamy as more expensive brands but I used it for a pasta sauce with smoked salmon and it was actually pretty tasty. It was a little sticky around the pan but a small bit of yogurt sorted that out. Would definitely used again.

Boring stuff:

Ingredients - Full Fat Soft Cheese (milk), Citrus Fibre

Contains 6 servings - (£0.08 per serving)
Tesco Everday Value Low Fat Yogurt, 500g - £0.45 (£0.09 per serving)

Absolutely nothing wrong with the Tesco Everyday Value yogurt as far as I'm concerned. The taste is not too sharp so if you're using it in cooking then it is not too overpowering. I used it in a curry and while it may have been a teeny bit on the thin side - a greek yogurt may have been better - it didn't separate so it passed my test.

If you're looking for something to go with muesli or cereal you might possibly want to go for something a little thicker/pricier but this Tesco one is pretty good value to keep in the fridge for basic use.

Boring Stuff:
